This week we are posting two separate reports, one report from Credit Suisse and the other from Barklays.  This is a good chance to get two separate points of view regarding the Real estate Market.  As a contributing partner to both surveys it is always interesting to see how they compare.

While there are some differences, there are some common factors in the five major California Markets:

            Los Angeles

            Inland Empire

            Sacramento

            San Diego

            San Francisco

Each market is seeing low inventory with rising prices.  Buyers are looking for lower priced properties.  Some are downsizing their expectations by looking for smaller less expensive homes.  Interest rates are a concern, but inventory is the driving factor in the market.

As always, if you have any questions, feel free to contact our office.
