HOA Coordinator

Farrell Smyth is a well-established San Luis Obispo property management firm seeking an experienced HOA Coordinator to join our team. This position is full-time, Monday - Friday from 8am-5pm, with some evening and weekend meeting attendance required. 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong administrative skills
  • Excellent people skills
  • Organized and able to meet deadlines
  • Property Management and/or HOA/Community Association management experience preferred
  • Real Estate license preferred but not required

Assistant Bookkeeper/Billing Coordinator

Farrell Smyth Property Management is looking for an Assistant Bookkeeper/Billing Coordinator in our Rental Department. This position is full-time, Monday - Friday 8am-5pm with a 1-hour lunch.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Posting receivables
  • Daily bank deposits
  • Charge back tenants
  • Data entry
  • Communication with Tenants
  • Create invoices for completed work orders
  • Process Move in and Move out inspections

The ideal candidate would be:

  • Computer skills -- Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized and able to Multi-Task
  • Able to work in a small office environment as well as independently
  • Positive and able to take on tasks as they arise
  • Property Management, bookkeeping or billing experience a plus

Summer Maintenance Tech

Farrell Smyth is looking for a temporary maintenance tech for our property management division. The position is full-time beginning early June through the end of September. Must be available to work Monday through Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm

Painting and basic handyman skills (including light plumbing and electrical) are required. Also experience and knowledge of general maintenance and construction work. Must be able to follow detailed instructions and work at a good pace moving from location to location.

Applicant must have a reliable vehicle for carrying supplies, paint, and a ladder. Must have a clean driving record, be dependable, and be able to work with the public and other crew members.
